What I feel here is that this may be a "419" scam. if your case is that of a long lost relation or the deceased has the same last name with you and you were contacted by a "lawyer" who happens to be the lawyer of the deceased, then this may be a scam.

If you received this information by e-mail from someone claiming to be a lawyer in Nigeria, from my experience, chances are that it is likely a scam and you need to tread carefully.
