in nigeria a will should be written as stipulated by the law in force, the testator being of age ,of sound mind, not under undue influence,the will duly signed simultaneously by two witnesses and mostly prepared by a lawyer who will deposit a copy in the probate regisrty of the high court within jurisdiction and will accordingly be given a receip.upon the demise of the testator the lawyer is contacted or the receipt be taken to the court and the original will brought from the archive and handed over which will be read to the familyof the testator.the one deposited is advantageous in that it is deemed valid once it is signed by the testator and its content is uncontestable.

Kindly contact your fathers lawyer. I am sure he would have one and would also process the original copy from the probate.
