notifing family or law when a body is moved from its grave

is it legal to remove a body from it's grave to another grave without notifing the family or law personal.and placing another body in it's grave.

I would think it would depend on what kind of cemetary we were talking about. If you are talking about a plot where a person purchased a gravesite, then the answer would be no, it would not be lawful to do that.

On the other hand, at a military cemetary or at a public cemetary where someone has no property rights, then I would think there would be a means to permit relocation of the graves in the event of a problem. However, I would certainly think that notice and opportunity to be heard would be a part of such a procedure.
