I would like to know can I be sued for a medical bill even though I am paying on it already?

Re: paying bills

if you are paying on the bill as a result of an agreement with the creditor or the creditor's attorney and that agreement can be proved (in writing)and you did not breach the agreement, you may have a semi-defense to the suit. at the least the judge should be very interested in hearing about the agreement and the proof of the same. if you are paying on the debt on your own accord and without any agreement, then the suit would probably stand unless you have other defenses to the debt.
