Privacy violation

A credit agency talked to someone else about my account without my authorization. The agency gave them all the infromation about my account without knowing who this person was or my authorization. What do i need to do now?

Well, that could very well be a violation of the Fair Debt Collection and Practices Act (FDCPA). Without knowing all the details, I can't really be too definitive. If it is a violation, you can generally bring suit under the Act in federal court. The amount of damages you can get is fairly limited, though.
