robbery one

my son is twenty years old and charged with robbery one but he did not committ the crime but the one who did said he set it up. this is hios first time introuble and he did not set it up what can he expect? can he not get youthful offender?

Your son is facing a very serious charge. Depending on his age and his criminal history, he might be eligible for youthful offender status. While I have succeeded in getting youthful offender status for young men charged with robbery before, it is actually quite rare for a judge to grant youthful offender status on a robbery 1 charge. I would need to know more details about your son's case before knowing whether he would be eligible for youthful offender treatment.

Whether or not he gets youthful offender status, he will still need to prepare an aggressive defense against the charge against him. He is facing the risk of incarceration under either situation, and he will need an experienced criminal defense lawyer involved in his case to protect him.
