Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama

My daughter will be 18 in three months. Her father has had legal residency of her for 15 years. She wants to stay here with me and not go back to him. Can her come and take her from me?

I am unsure of what legal residency of her is but if he has had physical custody of her through a court, yes he can. The best avenue for you is to file a petition for custody in court to try and keep her with you.
