Identification

How does a person without valid photo identification (government id, student id, etc.) obtain one? He is 18, does not have a recent student ID, does not have a social security card, and cannot get an Alabama issued ID without the social security card. All he has is a birth certificate.

Take the birth certificate to the Social Security Administration office and apply for a new social security card. You can apply for a new social security card if you have never had one before, or apply for a replacement card if you have lost one that was previously issued to you.
