Legal Question in Family Law in Alabama

Standard out of state visitation

What is the standard out of state visitation? My boyfriend lives in Missouri and his ex-wife and daughter live in Alabama. He needs to modify the visitation arrangements now that they live in different states but we do not know how that usually works. Who is responsible for transportation costs.

Re: Standard out of state visitation

there is a standard provision for your situation in jefferson county, however the visitation in your situation can be anything on which the parties agree. usually air fair is required and guardians if the children are young. the costs are usually split - depending on the financial position of each party. please contact me and i will be glad to assist.
