Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Alabama

in jan i went to knee surgeon with knee pain he did a xray and mri which showed a tear in the maniscaus cartlidge,had surgery in feb he also preformed microfracture surgery,started phy trpy 8 weeks of no pressure on leg advised doc that knee still hurt when trying to step up or down he did not see any reason why but do 6 more weeks of phy thrpy,did not work,advised him i was still unable to work because i climb poles and crawl under houses and i could not afford to stay on lght duty he gave me a shot of steriod which lasted about a week,next visit was 3 weeks,advised him it was still hurting he advised me to find another job he did not see anything wrong with knee instead got 2nd opinion. new doc did mri and xray and said there was still a tear in what looked like same place as first injury,he did operation and the cartlidge had not been trimmed and was also loose from causing a buckle in it. first doc had not performed trimming on cartlidge even though i and the insurance was billed for that part of the precdure ,many weeks out of work missing overtime because on light duty i want to know what action can be taken to see he does not make money off of somthing he did not do plus my lost time and pain

If you were billed for this procedure and your current doctor states it was obvious and should have been done and is willing to participate in litigation, you have a medical mal practice suit.
