Legal Question in Workers Comp in Alabama

Disability rating for PPI & MMI

Approx. 10 months ago I was injured at work when I fell from a structure. my arm was fractured, & impingement developed in my shoulder. After months of therapy I underwent an anterior acromioplasty on my(dominant)shoulder. doctor recently released me & gave me a permanent restriction from climbing, as well as a 15% disability rating to the upper extremities. As A result of the climbing restriction, I can no longer perform my trade, & had to find another job with a 1/3 loss in wages. How much should I accept for a settlement?

Re: Disability rating for PPI & MMI

In order to answer your question, I would need to know your average weekly wage and what you were paid for temporary total disability. Also, you would have a vocational disability which would require you to see a vocational expert. If you would like to discuss this matter further, please do not hesitate to give me a call at (205) 254-3927.
