Legal Question in Workers Comp in Alabama

I have a W/C case going to mediation soon and this is due to developing RSD after tendonitis surgery on my right wrist. I cant do anything anymore with my right hand and I am right hand dominant. The RSD has now spread into my left leg and it swells up horribly. This just began, should I tell them at mediation when I go? I don't know what I can say at this mediation, and my attorney wants me to come 1/2 hr before the mediation, so he hasnt informed me on what I can and cant do or say, I am nervous. Can I tell them of the new development? What kind of settlement would I be entitled to since I have lost all the mobility in my right hand and wrist and the sensitivity his horrible. I am no longer able to go to the beach, the sun and air leave me in excruciating pain. My legs swell if I stand too long, or sit too long, since the RSD has spread to my left leg. This is a horrible disease and I wouldnt have it if it hadnt been for me needing surgery for the tendonitis. I get so depressed because my life decisions are being made by Workmans Compensation.

The best advice I can give you is meeting with your attorney or someone on his or her staff a few days before the mediation, so that they can evaluate this development in the context of your worker's compensations claim.
