Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in Arizona

How would I help my mother-in-law go about an appeal of her 22year sentence she recieved today? She was given 22 days to respond or pass a motion, but I am ignoprant of Arizona's laws and court proceedings, plus to poor to afford a lawyer for her. Are there forms we can get for her to file?

She must have had a public defender representing her, so you might speak with him/her. If not, consider contacting legal aid right away. Or call your local bar association for a referral.
