Legal Question in Business Law in Arizona

Limited Liability Co.

I opened my LLC after I had business cards, etc. made....is it required that I add ''LLC'' to each card and what about the ones already handed out to potential customers/clients?

Yep. (To avoid an argument "they didn't know.") Printers are cheaper than lawyers. Hand written is fine. E mail to client saying to write LLC on card and in any case you are telling them you are an LLC. Save email.

In order to get the benefits of the LLC, you must observe the formalities of a separate legal entity and you must hold yourself out to the public and do business under the proper name of the company, and that includes the LLC designation, which tells everyone you are dealing with that this is a "limited liability" company.

Yes, you need new business cards and letterhead, invoices, website and all other materials and advertising that shows the company name. Previous clients should be notified of the new name, but not potential clients/customers.
