Legally binding contract?

If a group of people enter into a contract, two parties which are related ( father, son),son is 18 yrs of age and not living in same household of parent . only the father signs the contract but includes sons name. document is noterized. will the part pertaining to the son be legally binding in court?

Re: Legally binding contract?

One adult cannot bind another to the terms of a contract. To be binding each person who is to be held to the contract must sign. This is true regardless of the familial relationship among some of the parties.
