Legal Question in Criminal Law in Arizona

handling evidence

I was stopped by a DPS officer for '' a speeding Violation/cracked windshield'' My Question is after being subsequentally arrested for a warrant An inventory search was conducted of my vehicle and a packect of Methamphetamines was found and also a hypo needle and spoons ''my Ex Girlfriends'' . The Hypos were actually my mothers insulin needles but all of the above wer placed in one bag and subsequently taken to the station w/me wher a ''field test kit was used on baggie ''ripped'' positive test. My question is does the evidence coleected from different areas of vehicle have to be seperated to prevent cross contamination because if was charged for each individual item. I also passed an DAR test by another police officer I personally have not used meth for 18 mos. and am over a barrell and cant afford a lawyer and need advice to see if I should try to find money to get a lawyer if I have any sort of case. The officer in this case ''dps'' also is definitely not friendly to me in a seperate incident he was in a softball tourney where I was an offical and had to eject him from a game and he threatend to ''get me when I come to his town'' .I dont know I'm on probation another county not drug charges but they have allready violated me

Re: handling evidence

Issue is was this a valid inventory search? Not cross contamination. Have P.D. determine if search was to find evidence or to really inventory vehicle.
