Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona

Boyfriend having Legal Guardianship

I live in a different state than my children's father (who is currently not at all involved in their lives) and would like my boyfried to have guardianship of them. This is needed for medical, school and other issues. How do I go about having this done?

Re: Boyfriend having Legal Guardianship

There may well be a much easier way of handling this than going to court for a formal guardianship.

Check my website at the following link for information and a form you can use for a Durable Power of Attorney for Child Care.

Since I am only licensed in Tenneessee and not in your state, you might check with an attorney in your state to make sure the approach will work in your state.
