what non-insured means

Non-custodial father obligated to pay 33% of non-insured costs

child incurs. Does this include my weekly cost of out of paycheck

expenses for the insurance itself?

Thank you for your inquiry. Unless your orders specifically state otherwise, the father's obligation toward "non-insured" expenses does NOT include the cost of the insurance itself; the cost of the insurance should have been factored into the child support directly, so his support payment includes his contribution toward the cost of insurance. "Non-insured expenses" include co-pays, deductibles, and any other "out of pocket" expense that you incur that your insurance does not cover.
