My boyfreind is 24 i am 18 i was born in the u.s and i want to fix his papers. He had a visa when he was 5 years old but no longer has it. He has no record in the u.s

If your boyfriend cannot prove he had a legal entry into the U.S., then he would be required to apply for his immigrant visa at the U.S. Consulate in his home country, assuming a provisional waiver is approved first.

If you decide to get married, I would highly recommend hiring an experienced immigration attorney to prepare & file the case, as this type of case is complicated.
