Legal Question in Immigration Law in Arizona

I am running out of visa in october 2014 and getting married to my girlfriend in september 2014 , is there any way that I can still keep working after october 2014. I know I can apply for a green card after married but I want to know that will I be able to work while they process the application. Let say if I apply in september and if it would take them 3 months to take care of the application (December). Will I be able to work in november?

You cannot legally work without USCIS authorization, so you should file for your "greencard" as soon as you marry, EADs are taking about 75 days from the date of filing, so you are probably going to have an interim period without work authorization.
