Legal Question in Personal Injury in Arizona

I dated a man for 3 years until the day he broke my nose during an altercation we had. We broke up months afterwards, but we kept in contact. He always promised me he would fix my nose. It has been over 6 years. I've always felt bad for him because of problems he had but I always reminded him of his promise to me. I have now came to realization that he's not going to fix this problem on his own. Is there anything I can do or have I waited too long?

You had an oral promise from him and no more. Because nothing was in writing this would result in a "he said-she said" no-win situation. I'm sorry to say, but you probably are going to have to pay for any damage caused unless he was criminally convicted and ordered to pay restitution. Or you could take him to small claims or other civil court to try to recover the cost of the surgery or whatever. I think your best bet is just to live and let live, pay for the work yourself and move on.
