Re: Pre-existing medical conditins

Preexisting conditions are a two-edged sword. The defense will claim that part of your treatment, or most of it, is due to the preexisting condition. You will claim that it was not, or that you were stable and now worse. Some of your injuries are likely to be new, and not preexisting. You will also claim that the plaintiff takes you how he finds you, and that is why you needed more medical treatment than someone else who had no preexisting condition.

See an accident attorney. Do not attempt to handle such a case on your own. It is too complicated for a layman. We cannot advise you without knowing all the facts and circumstances, so this answer is general for educational purposes only and is not intended to be complete legal advice in your case.

A lot depends on the previous condition and the amount of medical treatment to put you back in the condition you were in prior to the t-bone. Recovery usually is based on medical treatment. How much damage to the vehicle?
