Statute of Limitations

My father was in an auto accident in March of 2000. What is the statute of limitations for filing a lawsuit against the other driver?

In Illinois the statute of limitations is 2 years. Please consider contacting an attorney immediately. (This response does not create an attorney client relationship.)

Re: Statute of Limitations

Hi,

In Arizona, the statute of limitations for negligence is two years from the date of the accident. Clearly, this date is rapidly approaching. I suggest your father retain an lawyer immediately to avoid losing any claims he may have. If I can be of any further assitance, please contact me.
