Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona

I have a jacket that has deep sentimental value to me. It has about $500 monetary value. I loaned it to an ex girlfriend of mine, with the verbal agreement that she would return it when she was done. She still has not and it has been over a year. It is a letterman jacket from high school, its one of the last gift that I have from my late grandfather. I would like to know if I have any legal case in small claims court. The only way I can prove that the jacket is mine is that it has my name stitched on it.

From the information given, I would say you have a very good chance of recovering your jacket through small claims court. I would suggest that you make a written demand for the return before you file your court complaint. You should mail the demand by certified mail so that you have a record to show the court.
