Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Arizona

My real estate agent says I have to move out of the house I'm selling before escrow closes. Does escrow close that day (Our COE date is 11/7/14) or does it close the second the recorder's office confirms and the funds are then transferred? I'm asking because the buyer's agent is saying we need to move by 8:30 am that day. We need a couple of hours to move our stuff out. Is that a problem? Thanks.

I disagree with your agent. Ask him to show you where it says in the purchase contract that you have to move out before escrow closes. There are many circumstances that could occur that will prevent or delay the close of escrow.
