Rent money

I gave my rent money to the property manager of the house im renting and she was supposed to give it to my landlord. She never did she acknowledges that she still owes me but is not giving me my money back what can i do?

You should notify the landlord that you paid the rent on a timely basis, to the landlord's property manager. That should constitute proper rent payment becaue the property manager is the agent of the landlord. It is the landlord's problem to collect the rent from his agent. I suggest you make future rent payments directly to the landlord.

You don't have to get the money back from the property manager. It may also be helpful to make a police report to prove that you did in fact pay the rent money to the property manager.

Payment to the property manager constitutes payment of the rent. You should have the property manager give you a receipt for your payment, and if he/she refuses, you should make a police report. You should also notify the landlord that you paid the rent to the property manager.
