Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arizona

My mother passed away last year and according to my step father there was no will. My mother has always told me she had a will but having a rocky relationship with my step father hinders me to find out anymore information. I was wondering how do I go about getting a copy of her will without my stepfather being present?

There is little that you can do to find or force your stepfather to give you a copy of the will.

Your mom could have revoked her last will and testament and made a new will that may or may not include you. You should file a petition in probate court to be appointed personal representative of her estate, without a will, and that would probably force him to produce her will, if there is one.
