Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Arizona

My son's Father passed away in February and named our son as beneficiary for his life insurance but the life insurance says that since he is a minor that he has to have a guardian or trustee to have access to the insurance money. I have had full custody of him since he was 2 and have been getting child support for him. Now I get nothing, how can I get access to the money, My son is 15 and does not contest me having access for his benefit as I am now supporting him on my own.

You should petition the probate court for appointment as conservator of your son, to receive the money from the insurance company and hold it on behalf of your son. You can also ask the court to allow for payment to you for his support and maintenance.
