Legal Question in Consumer Law in Arkansas

Cell Phone Service Plan Problem

I'm having a major problem with my cell phone company, AT&T. On October 23, 2003 I switched phone plans and was specifically told I had 600 any time minutes, and an additional 200 bonus minutes for my corporate sponsorship.

My most recent bill I went over my ''alloted'' time according to AT&T and noticed a substantial overage charge. In reviewing my bill, it only states i have 600 minutes, 400 anytime, and 200 bonus minutes. I called and spoke with a supervisor, and all they could say is ''Im sorry, but you only have 600 minutes, not 800''

I keep record of all the times I call them, and who i spoke with, and Im told '' We can't speak on behalf of Shannon [person I spoke with in october], we can only say, you don't have 800 minutes''

What are my options here? They aren't budging with their stance, however, i have the name, time, and date of when I was told otherwise.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Cell Phone Service Plan Problem

Do you have anything in writing? That would be your best situation. Otherwise, it's your word against theirs. A polite call or letter from you is always a good idea. If that doesn't work, a polite call or letter from a lawyer might help.
