Legal Question in Family Law in Arkansas

I just got out of an aabusive relationship. My ex boyfriend told me if i ever left him he would "find" me and make me pay. He stole alot of my things when he left and trashed all my clothes and personal items. I moved out of state the next day, in fear for mine and my kids safety. He falsrly accussed me of child neglect to family services. My friend had gone by our old house to check on things as I still havent retrieved all my belongings yet. She said there was a letter on my door giving me 5 days to contact an investigator from DHS. Do I have to contact them as I was never personally served, nor do I live in that state anymore?

You should contact an attorney in Eureka Springs first, then contact DHS.
