can am employer fire you for any reason at all while you are out on medical leave?

Generally, an employer can terminate you for any reason assuming there is no employment contract in place. However, there are several exceptions to this very general rule. First, we would need to know why you were terminated and what type of medical leave were you taking at the time of your termination (e.g. FMLA).
