Legal Question in Banking Law in California
I deposited a check that apparently was placed in my po box by mistake. I did not endorse it, but the bank deposited it in my account in January. They called me today to say they deposited a check to my account that was not made out to me. What should be the result?

They should debit your account for the amount that was not yours and belonged to someone else.
