Legal Question in Bankruptcy in California

I am responding to a summons pro per. I have the forms and a friend willing to mail the POS. My questions are about the procedure. Tried calling the court not to helpful. From what I could gather, it seems that I have someone mail the POS, then I file my answer with a copy of the POS. Is this correct? Do I send a copy of my answer with the POS being mailed to the plaintiff?

The standard Superior Court process is that you file with the Court the original of your answer with a POS attached and at the same time send a copy of the answer and POS with all other parties involved in the suit.
