Legal Question in Business Law in California

I am a teacher, and my contract for the new school year was not renewed, so it terminated on July 31st. I am still entitled to one more month's pay which my ex employer is paying me. Is there any requirement that my health insurance continue until the month end when I receive my last paycheck? Please advise.

Ask your union if you are in one. Otherwise, you'll have to consult with a civil attorney who knows nothing about your specific contract until he reviews it in detail.
