Myspace Libel?

I had my Myspace account deleted, and I asked why. They (finally) emailed me to tell me that it was because I'm a Registered Sex Offender. The only problem is, I'm not. (and never have been). What should I do next?

Can you get a letter from the police department stating that you are not the person on the list?
