What is the CA Statute of limitations (measured from what event, e.g. day of discovery or posting) on a client claim against a company for posting the client's testimonial without express permission (past acts).

I'm having difficulty finding a statute of limitations because it isn't clear to me that there is a cause of action 9ground for lawsuit) here. Ordinarily, a business does not commit an actionable tort by publishing a customer testimonial. There may be circumstances where a cause of action might arise, but without knowing what particular harm has been done, I can't speculate on what statute of limitations would apply, nor whether it would begin to run upon publication or discovery or something else.
