How and when does a judge give jury instructions to jury about a law that may conflict with my case

The judge gives preliminary instructions at the start of the case, mostly procedural instructions and instructions regarding jury conduct. The judge instructs the jury on the applicable law once all the evidence is done being presented.

I agree with Mr. McCormick. I'm not sure, though, what you mean by "a law that may conflict with my case". Laws occasionally conflict with one another, and there are rules about how to resolve such conflicts. But it makes no sense to say that a law conflicts with a particular ongoing case. If you explained your situation a bit more we might be better able to answer your question.
