Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

I have a Money Judgment, the collection agency sent me a "NOTICE OF LEVEY UNDER WRIT OF EXECUTION" it does not have a COURT STAMP , it does not look like its from the court. And it has a FINANCIAL Statement questioner attached to it,. The collection agency wants me to sent it back to them.. Q: Do I have to submit my FINANCIAL information..?

Unless you are subpoenaed to court, you don't have to do so. However, if you want to negotiate the judgment, you might consider providing evidence of your lack of wealth to bolster your bargaining position. In addition, if you meet certain criteria, you might be able to seek a reduction in the amount levied in court by applying to the court and providing that financial information. Usually, self-help centers are located in or near the courthouses across the state who deal with these kinds of things all the time.
