Legal Question in Consumer Law in California

I am sueing a company for bad product which caused damage. The process servicer has tried two times to serve the company. Can anyone (manager etc) be served or does it have to be the person of service (pos). I really need to know this.

There are multiple ways to serve a company that varies as to if it is a corporation, sole propietership or otherwise. If a corporation, look up the agent for service of process on the Secretary of State's website.
