Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

Debt collection, goods delievered, customer refuses to pay

Goods were delivered to a customer of mine for whom I acted as a middle man in the deal. The vendor is in process to sue me as the amount is significant. The customer has been buying time and playing games. What should I do to recover the debt?
