Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

When giving a written check to a company (******) does that give them the right to use that check to direct debit the funds immediately from my account? Consider that I never gave them authorization to direct debit funds.

Read The Friendly Contract (actually the ** terms of service). Unless you wrote them a bad check, why is this an issue?
