Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California
im being sued by capital one for a debt i do owe it but i cant pay it at this time i have tried to settle with them before but nothing and now i got summonds from their attorney whats my best option try to talk to them to come to agrement or file a answer in court i live in ca

We handle these all the time. Your best option depends on a variety of factors ranging from who the actual plaintiff is and who the attorney is. Also how old the debt is adds to this as well. You may be able to hire an attorney to work out a settlement. If may be that they can not prove their case also.
