Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

How can my 11550 case be dismissed or pardoned by the judge if I have no priors, am an honor roll student athlete with a good reputation, am also apart of an honor roll society phi theta kappa, but the DA has a voice recording of me admitting my charge? I know I can opt for DEJ, but I want to get my case dismissed altogether with no consequences/requirements.

Every defendant wants to get their case "dismissed altogether with no consequences / requirements." Of course, it's not up to them. It's also not up to the judge. She has no authority to dismiss a case on her own unless the D.A. makes very serious procedural errors. Failing that, whether to dismiss the case is up to the D.A.

Only the governor can grant a pardon. That rarely happens, and even then only after a conviction.

Honor role student/athletes are not entitled to special treatment. The D.A. has discretion to go easy on you if he thinks that would serve the interests of justice. So far, though, that clearly is not how he feels.

You need a lawyer ASAP if you don't have one already. She might be able to persuade the D.A. to make a deal. The outright dismissal you want is unlikely, but not impossible.

Good luck.
