Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I was cited for Misdemeanor Charge 4462.5 VC in Ventura County and was not arrested Courtroom docket entries made prior to my first court appearance states 853.6 P.C. requires booking before arraignment if not booked refer to arresting Police Agency.

QUESTION am I going to be arrested when I show up for court this WED and if so WHY ??

No, you are misreading that section. If you have not been booked, the judge will most likely give you an order to be booked after your arraignment. You will have to go to the police department to be booked, and return proof of that booking slip to the courtroom. Booking is not the same as being arrested. If you do not get booked when you are ordered to, however, you can be arrested for failing to comply with the court's order.
