Domestic violence was a lie
3 years ago, my ex-wife accused me, wrongly, of domestic violence. Since I had no lawyer and she had witnesses willing to lie for her, I pleaded no contest to misdemeanor assault on spouse. She now admits in counseling sessions that she lied about the domestic violence, but says there is nothing she can do to take it off my record. Is she right, or is there a way she can admit to her perjury and exonerate me? Who would she talk to, if she were willing?
