Re: How to find.

Go to the Victorville Supreior court, criminal division and court clerk what you have to do to see the file. You can then read the court file and make copies of the complaint, or just write down the information your want.

The file will state what was done to violate a particular code section. After reading the file you can look up the code sections that are refered to on the internet.

Re: How to find.

Thanks for your posting. You were not specific about what you want to find out about this case, so part of the answer depends on that part of the question.

If you want to find out what the charges are and what the next court date is, you can normally call the court. If you need specifics about what happened on particular dates, you will need to visit the court and request to copy from the file. Be aware that portions of the court file, such as police reports, will not be released to third parties, and you will not be able to get them unless via subpoena or through the attorney of record representing the defendant.

I hope this helps -- but if you have other questions, please email me at [email protected], or call me toll free at 1-877-568-2977.

Re: How to find.

Robert's answer was the most complete. However, you personally don't have to visit the court. Anyone that you ask to may visit the court, pull the file, and read or copy the complaint. There are certain factual alligations that are incorporated in the complaint by the D. A. However, complaints are normally over filed i.e., the D. A. commonly charges more crimes than can be proven at trial. This is done in an excess of caution to keep from under charging the complaint, and having to make amendments in the complaint as more facts become known to the D. A.
