Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

How long does it usually take for a judge to sign off form 1203.4, reducing a felony to a misdemeanor on a HS11377 and hs11364. This happened in July 2012, Been on probation since and Probation will end July 2015. I was offered a job of a lifetime at the SF Airport and I cannot have a felony on my record. My future boss understands the situation but if he writes me a letter of intent to hire, it's only good for 30 days. I just need to know how long it will take, since I know this charge and conviction is a wobbler and probation is less than a year away. This is crucial information that I need. If I can get some time frame to work with, providing the DA's office agrees, which I think they will, I am instructed to give him a date he can work with.

The DA is not going to agree to reduce a felony to a misdemeanor while you are still on probation. You would need to reduce your probation first. You should be talking about this with your attorney.

You need to get put on calendar. If it is approved and if your attorney has a proposed order it can be done on the same day you are on calendar. It will take several weeks to be put on calendar. Papers need to be filed. Talk to your attorney.
