Re: public records

First, I would like to commend you on completing PC1000. I know how difficult it is to complete a program as long and tedious as PC1000. Most people who sign up for the program never finish. You should be proud of your accomplishment.

As for clearing your record - whenever you signed up for PC1000, the Court likely also scheduled some "proof dates." These are dates when you are suppose to come to Court to show the court your progress in the program. From your post, it sounds like these dates may have been missed. Not to worry, however, you can always add yourself on the calendar to show proof of completion to the court. Once the Court acknowledges you've completed the program, your record will indicate that you were never charged or convicted of the crime.

Re: public records

You can get a conviction 'expunged' so the record shows charges dismissed. You can get the records 'sealed' so no one but law enforcement can see into them. But, you can't get your name 'removed'. Records are forever. They are a consequences of our choices and actions.

Now, if you are serious about trying to get expungement or sealing, feel free to contact me to discuss.
