Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I recently discovered that for the past nine months there is a household attempting mind controland brainwashing techniques. These techniques also include body, ear, and nose implants. I am hearing them constantly talking to me, they keep me awake for days on end. Also, they have my husband believing a whole different story. My husband is currently getting ready serve a 5 year sentence for being under their control and stillhas no idea as to it happening. From what they tell me they plan to have him commit suicide when he goes in. Not to mention they also want me to be admitted to a mental hospital and or to commit suicide also. I need some legal advice on what yo do and where to go.

Please don't be offended by my answer, which is surely not what you want to hear.

No matter how firmly you believe these things, what you say is happening cannot possibly be true. Mind control does not exist. Even if it did, it presumably would be a costly and elaborate procedure that your neighbors could not possibly pull off. It is also not remotely plausible that anyone could secretly put implants into your body -- especially in three different places. And even if they could, there is no way the implants could do what you say they're doing. Besides, if you were under someone else's control, why would they allow you to post this question?

Your neighbors can't be controlling your husband either, just as they can't be controlling you. The reason he has no idea it's happening is that it isn't.

You ask for legal advice. I'm afraid this isn't a legal issue. But you also ask where you should go, and I do have an answer to that question: If you genuinely believe the things you have told us, then I urge you to seek medical help.

The voices you hear constantly are not your neighbors'. They are coming from your own mind, and they are likely a sign of serious mental illness. Such illnesses can usually be treated. They usually won't go away on their own. You should see a psychologist or psychiatrist as soon as possible. If you can't afford to pay for treatment, there are government programs that will help you. But taking the first step is up to you.

Please bear in mind that I don't know who you are. This site works anonymously, which means participating lawyers like me have no way to find out whose questions we're answering. I thus also don't know your husband, and I don't know who the people are that you think are controlling you. I have no reason to mislead you, and no agenda besides wanting to help someone in need.

I sincerely wish you all the best as you deal with these issues. Good luck.
