Legal Question in DUI Law in California

What should I expect?

My husband was arrested Friday and is scheduled to appear before a judge in 2 courts. San Diego Muni and El Cajon Courthouse. He has 3 arrests and 6 charges that are active:

Arrest 1:

Possesion/Sale of hypo needle.

FTA

Arrest 2:

Driving on suspended licence

DUI

Arrest 3:

Driving on suspended licence

DUI

Frustrating because it leaves his kids and I alone and without a vehicle (lost due to 30 day hold.) It would be a great help if you could give me an idea of what to expect at court, fines and the length of sentence he may be looking at. We don't have much money but if we were able to hire a lawyer would it make much of a difference? If so, can you suggest an inexpensive one? Thank you for your time.

You should hire a lawyer for this. This is going to take some time to handle, and probably won't be handled in one court hearing unless he is planning on pleading guilty and accepting any deal they hand out. If you can't afford an attorney, he should ask for the public defender.
